Mckerron’s Bar serves a small selection of bar snacks. The bar does not serve food, but you are welcome to take food into Mckerron’s from any takeaway (preferably a local takeaway, so we can all support small businesses).
Mckerron’s welcomes well-behaved dogs in the front of our bar and in the garden. Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the building. We kindly ask that you do not bring your dog into the bar area, and make sure you dog stays on the floor and not on the furniture. If a dog is impacting the experience of our other guests, for example with exessive barking, we may ask you to move into the garden.
Mckerron’s Bar runs a weekly traditional music session on a Thursday evening. All competent local musicians are welcome. No tickets are needed – just show up and enjoy the tunes. The music tends to start at around 7pm.
Mckerron’s Bar does not take reservations for tables.
Mckerron’s has over 170 whiskies from Scotland and the world.
People under the age of 18 are welcome in the bar as long as they are accompanied by an adult. We kindly ask that you vacate your table by 8pm, after which time the bar will only welcome people over 18. We do not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18, and will ask for ID if there is any doubt that someone looks under 25.
